About the Society

Formed in 1982 by a group of local residents Booker Common and Woods Protection Society was set up to help conserve and protect the rural environment of Booker and the surrounding area for the enjoyment of all.

The majority of members are from the local area but membership is open to everyone and new members are always welcome.  The Society is a registered charity (No. 289871) run on a voluntary basis and operates through a small organising committee that meets every two months.

AGM – May 13th – 8:00pm

Please join us for our 41st Annual General Meeting.  It will be held in the Booker Memorial Hall on Monday May 13th starting at 8:00pm.
