Sadly we are seeing an increase in the level of dog waste being left on the common. All dog owners need to clear up after their dog it is not just unpleasant but can be dangerous (Tondu rugby player ends up in hospital after falling in dog poo – BBC News). We may not have sports pitches on the common but children play on the common.

We hope the new notices will encourage all dog owners to clear up after their dogs.
